It's hard to believe how time flies! Last week our college friends Beth and James from New Jersey came to visit. Last time we saw them Allen and I had just celebrated our first anniversary and they had a newborn. A lot has happened since then to say the least!
I ventured out and made a new dessert, a tiramisu bowl and it was wonderful! We also played a few games of Blockus, similar to Tetris. It was a good thing we stopped when we did because it started getting very competitve.
The next day we took them around The Woodlands and showed them where we live. I introduced Beth to my favorite store Kirklands. I love going to that store at this time of year! Of course no trip to Texas would be complete if it didn't include Freebirds.
