Another first this year was waking up at our house! For the past five years we have traveled during the holidays but this Christmas brought a lot of firsts and this was one of them. We opened gifts at our house and then headed over to my parents house to have our immediate family Christmas.

More trains! That was the theme of this Christmas.Then we headed over to my cousin's house for the extended family Christmas. We always do a gift exchange but this year there was a twist for the adults, instead of drawing names we did a white elephant gift exchange. The girls brought something scented (lotion or candle) and the guys brought a snack / candy. I thought it was a great idea!
