A Little R&R

Last weekend our neighbors invited us to float the river, hang out in San Antonio, and then shop at the San Marcos outlets on Sunday. We had a great time!! We had great weather and no one got sunburned on the river. It was mine and Allen's first time and we had a blast! We forgot to bring a camera on the river, but here are some pictures of the rest of the weekend.

Gruene, TX

We ate at the Gristmill. We highly recommend this place! It's nice because it's on the river but you have to get there early because it fills up quickly.
This is the oldest dance hall in Texas, Gruene Hall.
There was actually someone playing, but we didn't recognize him.

Then on Sunday we went shopping at the outlets in San Marcos, did I mention that it was Tax Free Weekend?! I'm sure you can imagine how much fun the guys had :) Actually, they really didn't complain at all but we could tell it wasn't there favorite part of the trip.
